Showing that green motoring is the way to go are more than a few famous A-listers.

Proving a trend that isn't slowing down, green cars are not only great for environment but also it seems for your street cred.

Here are a few who are driving down Green Street...

Jessica Alba -

Yummy Mummy Jessica Alba loves her GMC Yukon Hybrid. Remember Jessica's famous line "practice safe sex and drive a hybrid if you can," at the MTV Movie Awards?

Kristin Davis -

Driving a dual-fuel BMW Hydrogen, Kristen Davis (aka Sex and the City's Charlotte) is keeping it green in the city. Although this particular car is a loaner, Kristen is in good company with BMW lending the hot eco friendly car to Brad Pitt, Jason Bateman and Cameron Diaz.

Paris Hilton -

Bet you didn't think Paris Hilton had a conscience. Well it seems that when Paris turned 27, she treated herself to a GMC Yukon Hybrid to jump on the green car celebrity band wagon. Sadly, a few months later Ms Hilton had traded it in for a not so green pink $200,000 Bentley Continental GT. Insincere? Paris? Nooooooo.

Thandi Newton -

Thandi Newton traded in her BMW X5 after finding inspiration in a leaflet left under the windshield of her SUV. She has since been spotted cruising green in a brand new Toyota Prius. And not content with doing her bit for the environment, she partitioned other celeb friends such as David Beckham to follow her lead.

Cameron Diaz

Prius Diaz has been driving the celeb favourite Toyota Prius for years. Diaz says "I found that I was already practicing the basics, everything from recycling to composting to saving energy to hybrid cars."

Gwyneth Paltrow

Miss Gwyn sure lives, eats and breathes a healthy lifestyle, and, as sure as God made little green apples, Gwyney chooses to reflect this in choosing to drive a stylish and eco loving Toyota Prius. Go Gwyn!
