The Fiat 500X
The AutoChic girls have long been obsessed with the adorable Fiat 500. I mean, what's not to love? It's Italian, stylish, gutsy and yet petite, all at the same time. Hello?
Oh so much fun to drive, this is one car we easily see as a fashion statement more so than many of its small segment counterparts. Most recently, the Fiat 500X has been seen looking all 'blue steel' and sexy fronting the Zoolander2 campaign and at the catwalk runway at 2016 Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival (VAMFF). A hot model this season? It appear so.
We were initally both perplexed and interested to hear of the release of the all new Fiat 500X, a pumped up version of the 500. Unusual when you ponder it; we're talking a beefed up, mini-maxi version of its former, smaller self. Who on earth wants a bigger body and would building and flexing its muscles be at the cost of losing its cute appeal?
Confession - the original Fiat was always my 'mid-life crisis' car; meaning of course having 3 kids, a dog and a million sporting goods in my boot, this baby was completely unrealistic for my lifestyle. But in my quieter moments, I used to think of my dream car, burning and yearning for what could never be...
Now with the Fiat 500X starting at $28,000 and with a bigger back seat, boot and available in all-wheel drive, I'm rethinking it. I now have no excuse but to revisit my Fiat-fever. If Derek Zoolander has one, its almost a no-brainer.
So hold tight AutoChic lovers, we'll be back to you in a jiffy with a test-drive in poll position soon.
Until then, enjoy this ridiculously good looking man in his Fiat 500X.
