Goodyear tyres helps premature & sick babies
In July 2013, Life's Little Treasures Foundation and Goodyear tyres launched a partnership to help some of Australia's most vulnerable treasures - babies who are born premature or sick.
As part of it, Goodyear will donate $1 for every Goodyear Assurance TripleMax tyre sold across the Beaurepaires and Goodyear Autocare store networks during 2013 to the cause. Funds raised will help over 5000 families looking after a baby currently in a neonatal intensive care unit or special care nursery in hospitals across Australia.
"In Australia, 45,000 babies each year are admitted in to neonatal intensive care and special care nurseries, and the experience places an emotional and financial burden on the parents," says Life's Little Treasures Foundation co-founder Parool Shah. "Goodyear's vital support will enable us to work with many more families and ultimately improve the long-term outcomes for vulnerable babies who are born too soon or sick."
More on Life's Little Treasures Foundation
Life's Little Treasures Foundation works towards a vision where babies born premature or sick receive the best possible start in life by supporting parents.
