Ever been on a date with onion breath wishing you just had a toothbrush? At the beach with no sunscreen? Or stuck at work without any tampons? Horror!!! Miette Beauty kits to the rescue!

There are 3 girly, 'save your ass' packs: Wheels to Heels (all the emergency beauty essentials you need on the road, to get to your destination looking great); Beach Essentials (you only need two things at the beach: this pack and your towel!); and Boardroom to Bar (freshen up after a busy day in the office and arrive at those after-work drinks or date looking fab).

We caught up with Miette Beauty founder Jessica Aitken to find out more about the kits and her...

Tell us about Miette Beauty...

Miette Beauty brings you a range of gorgeous packs full of miniature beauty products designed with you in mind. Everything a woman needs to stay fresh-faced and ready for anything!

Why did you start it?

It all began when I started dating my now-boyfriend a year ago. He and I would go on dates straight after work, so my desk drawer was full of beauty products to help me get ready; of course I wanted to look my best so I had all the lotions and potions. I couldn't find my pens or stationary and then the 'light bulb' moment came.

Have you ever had an embarrassing moment where you wish you had something in one of your packs to fix it?

Being at work about to go on a date realising I had garlic in my lunch and had no mints! Toothbrush and toothpaste would have been so great right about then.

How long have your been running for?

About 8 months.

Did you face any challenges along the way starting your business and how did you overcome them?

The biggest challenge I've had is getting people to know about my product. I don't think many small businesses have the money to pay for PR - I certainly didn't - so I had to learn how to market my business through social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook and also do lots of research on the right people in the media industry to send my products to.

(Kits pictured above, top-to-bottom: Wheels to Heels, Boardroom to Bar, Beach Essentials.)

Anything coming up for Miette Beauty or you you'd like to mention?

I'll be launching new packs in the near future so look out for exciting new packs on my website!

Do you have a car? If so, tell us a bit about it...

I have a Holden Barina 2001. It's black and looks cute! I sometimes think it has a ghost because there's a problem with the stereo and it's always changing stations on its own!

What's your dream car/scooter?

I think a Mercedes SLK would do me Smile

If you could meet any 5 people, dead or alive, who would they be?

Michael Jackson, Dalai Lama, my Grandad, Barak Obama, and Marilyn Monroe.

Celeb crush?

Paul Walker (Fast & the Furious).
