Axle Whitehead may have to change the words to his song "I Don't Do Surprises" after he was pleasantly surprised with the smart fortwo 52kW car we recently organised for him to review! Here's what he had to say about his week with the tiny car...
What do you like about this car?
It's surprisingly sporty. You'll beat any other car at the lights. Plus fuel efficiency is incredible [4.7 litres will get you about 100km!].
Any stand-out features?
Smooth transmission and it's fuel efficient.
Was there anything you don't like about this car?
Only thing: obviously little room for luggage, instruments, etc.
Two words to describe this car:
Sporty and fun.
Describe your style:
Hmmnn... red Mustang is my style.
Does this car suit your style?
Not particularly, but it's a great little car!
Who would you recommend this car to?
Anyone who does lot of driving around the city, and anyone who wants to save money and time, parking and fuel.
Anything else you'd like to say about the smart fortwo?
I was really surprised at how much fun they are, plus very safe. A friend had an accident in one and the other car came of 2nd best.
What's new for you?
My second single is just about to come out. We're just putting the magic sprinkles on the album, which will be out in August.
